The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship is a contest open for US Citizens to receive awards for international study. Students who apply for these awards must be receiving a Pell Grant. The award is effective for studying at a 2 or 4 year college.

This award was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000 and is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
