June 30, 2006, Newsletter Issue #22: Paying for Help

Tip of the Week

There are many companies and websites out there that will help you find legitimate scholarships and steer you away from fraudulent scholarships. These companies charge a one-time sign-up fee and will help you find the scholarships that are best suited to you.

Ensure that the scholarship search company is reputable by looking at their partner websites, their privacy policy and ensuring that they are well thought of throughout the industry and on the web. Do they have a BBB (Better Business Bureau) seal on their site? Do they seem to offer free, free free everything? Do your research and protect your investment of time and money!
