Burger King Scholarship Program Rewards Working StudentsEach year, hundreds of $1,000 Burger King Scholars Program awards are granted to graduating high school seniors through the non-profit Burger King/McLamore Foundation. The scholarship guidelines are published each September, and winners are notified during the spring. Eligibility requirements include: minimum grade point average of 2.5, part-time employment (15 hours per week at least 40 weeks per year), community or extra-curricular involvement, recommendation from school official, and recommendation from employer. Additionally, scholarship recipients must plan to enroll in a two-year, four-year, or vocational technical school upon graduation from high school. Burger King sponsors scholarship programs in the
